I can understand being pretty mad over the Wii version of Guitar Hero III's mono sound problem. I was pretty livid when I originally covered the issue myself, but Activision's already promised a second pressing with corrected sound and free replacement discs for everybody in just a few months. Problem solved, right?

For some disgruntled gamers, this obviously isn't enough. Steven Livingston of San Francisco, CA has filed a class action lawsuit on behalf of all consumers who purchased the Wii version of the game, charging manufacturer Activision with "deceptive and unlawful" conduct by selling the game's original mono pressing. The suit seeks "actual damages, individual restitution, equitable relief, civil penalties, costs and expenses of litigation, including attorney's fees, and all further relief available." You can get some more details from Wired's coverage of the topic.
