One of the first things I posted about back when this blog was in beta-testing was the Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn save data glitch. The gist of the problem is that Radiant Dawn choked when importing save data from Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance's if there was an Easy mode save anywhere on the card. You got better success rates if you deleted your Easy mode data, but it might choke and glitch anyway.

N-philes reports that Nintendo of America has recognized the problem and is issuing a new, corrected printing of Radiant Dawn that can import Easy Mode save data from Path of Radiance. (Nintendo is claiming they'll "repair your disc", but... uh, sorry, digital media discs don't work like that.)

To get your new copy, contact Nintendo Customer Service by phone or e-mail and explaining the problem. Nintendo eventually sends you a mailing label, you mail your faulty disc back, and then Nintendo sends you a replacement that works properly. Presumably this would also mean that new copies of Radiant Dawn purchased at retail wouldn't have the save data import glitch, either.
