During the Animal Crossing: City Folk E3 coverage, comment consensus appeared to be that it was too much like the GC Animal Crossing. The latest Nintendo Power has revealed some new details about the game that establish more new features and things to do in this title. Of course, you'll still have to decide whether this makes the Wii game different enough for you.
- The game will contain an auction house that allows you to bid on items put up for sale by friends. Bets on Friends Code making this a huge pain in the butt?
- You can "visit Dr. Shrunk's comedy show to learn new emotions." Wah?
- You'll be able to take in-game pictures of things and send them to friends via your Wii or e-mail, or transfer them to SD card and them mess around with them on your computer.
- Special event holidays are back, with special characters who appear on those days.
- Free DLC in the form of new furniture and other decorations is being considered.
- DS-to-Wii connectivity: You'll be able to move your main character from your DS game to your Wii game, or move furniture and collectibles from Wii to DS.
