Now here's an interesting comment about Wii MotionPlus. Most developers have treated the Wii Remote add-on as unquestionably a good thing that makes controls simpler and more intuitive. Or does it really? de Blob developer Nick Hagger doesn't seem to think so, and said as much in an interview with MTV Multiplayer.

I think if we had the MotionPlus to start out with, maybe the control scheme would have worked out a little bit differently, said Hagger in a phone interview late last week. I think the temptation with having Wii MotionPlus would have been to push it more in a gestural control scheme. While its definitely intellectually stimulating from a development perspective to play with those ideas - and I think it does appeal to a set of gamers out there - I think the majority of people that play on the Wii want something very simple that they can just immediately get their heads around.

Food for thought-- maybe not every game can, or should, support MotionPlus.

I misread the guy's name at first and thought that this was an interview with Metro City Mayor Mike Haggar.

I think if we had the MotionPlus to start out with, maybe HOOOORG AROOOYAH, said Haggar in a phone interview, shortly before punching the phone and eating the roast chicken hiding inside.

LMAO!!!!! If that were true the guy who he punched could have eaten some gum on the street and then been back up fighting in no time at all.
