Whoo, called it. For the next hour, you can snag No More Heroes for $19.98, down from its usual MSRP of $29.99. While not a super-fantastic deal, it is a really great game. This is a good time to snag it if you don't have it yet.
With a Metacritic rating of 83%, No More Heroes is probably one of the most beloved "hardcore" games on the Wii. Reviews range from 100% at the high end to 60% at the low end, a variation that depends on how you react to the game's weak points. See, it's a fantastic game when you're fighting or playing the chore mini-games, and kind of an irritating game when you're in the overworld. I think the overworld bits are easy to forgive since the story is so delightfully crazy, but that's just me.
Screens and a vid behind the cut, folks... provided you even see this before it sells out. The hint for the next deal is "I promise this blob isn't poisonous," which makes me think it'll be Mercury Meltdown: Revolution.
EDIT: You didn't. 100% claimed in about twenty minutes. Well, you know, $30 for No More Heroes is still a bargain...
