A great WiiWare Puzzle game. This may sound like an oxymoron, but I assure you it's not. It has been week after week of awful puzzle games, but leave it to Nintendo to deliver a gem on their first try. The second in the Art Style series (the first being the awesome ORBIENT), CUBELLO is a must own for any puzzle fan.

Much like ORBIENT, CUBELLO is very simple and stripped down to the bare minimums. The game is simply an object made out of different color cubes called a Cubello rotating around a white background. You have a magazine of cubes in all of the colors of the Cubello. Using the Wii Remote, you aim at the Cubello and fire cubes from your magazine. If you match 4 and more cubes, they disappear. The rotation will change depending on how you hit the Cubello. If you don't get rid of cubes in a certain amount of time, you'll run of out of cubes reloading in your magazine and lose the game. The object of the game is to eliminate all of the cubes, so that you're left with only the core cube.

It sounds like your standard puzzle game, but it's not. The rotation really adds a new element to this color matching formula. The game takes strategy to play and is very fun. The sound is extremely simple, but it's used to great effect. There is a computerized voice announcing what you do and ambient electronic noises in the background.

Nintendo has gone two for two in their Art Style series with CUBELLO. It's easily the best puzzle game so far on WiiWare, and for only 600 points, it's a must-buy. Any self-respecting Puzzle fan needs to have this in their WiiWare library.
