'Sup folks! Sorry for the downturn in post count, it's been a crazy early November over here (and probably for everyone else, too.) We'll be back to our regularly scheduled post frequency soon enough.

For now, I want to post about something that I feel pretty strongly about as a gamer. Activision's growth as a company has lead to adopting the greed-crazed practices of old-school Electronic Arts. Nothing has convinced me of this more than Activision's decision to ax Terminal Reality's Ghostbusters title, simply because it couldn't be used to whore out an endless stream of sequels.

The Ghostbusters game is probably going to be really great. The demo sessions I've spent with it have been impressive. I'm pleased to be able to report now that Atari will be the company to step up and make sure Ghostbusters makes it to store shelves.

Note that the Wii SKU of Ghostbusters is being developed by Red Fly Studios, creators of Mushroom Men. This is one multi-platform title that probably won't be leaving us Wii fans with the short end of the stick.

By the by, you've probably noticed we're being sponsored by Dragonball Origins now! I don't know how long this will last, but I'm pretty pleased about it. I actually saw this game back at E3 when it was New Untitled Dragonball Game and was immediately charmed by the way it went back to Dragonball's funny roots, and the Phantom Hourglass-style stylus controls. I'm expecting it to be the best of the Dragonball RPGs to date, which is not necessarily damning with faint praise. The later DB RPGs were quite decent, and Origins seems to be trying even harder to great.
