Some sources have updated the shipping status of poor delayed Rhythm Heaven, and things have gotten a bit better. Amazon is currently listing June 30 for Rhythm Heaven's ship date, while a Go Nintendo user has reported hearing June 7th in an email from... uh, Amazon. Well, at least it's not November now.

This is still a good six months after the initially announced launch window, so I'm getting really curious about how (and how much) Nintendo is localizing this game. Are they re-recording English versions of some of the songs with Japanese lyrics? I can't think of a lot of other reasons why you'd push the game back to that particular date.

I know there are plenty of you out there who are hardcore enough that you've played Rhythm Heaven already. Would you even want to play a version with English-language songs?

Ah, and there lies the rub.

I mean, hell, of course I'd play it. That game kicks booty and needs to be supported as much as possible. Even if I've crushed the import version. It's just that good.

I dunno why taking so long would be because of switching in english songs. There weren't *that* many songs with japanese lyrics. But who knows what the heck goes on with localization. (Not me, obviously. :V)
