Earlier today Nintendo officially announced that the DSi would be coming to North America on April 5th for $169.99, which isn't far off from the early rumors on the subject. Along with that, Nintendo also confirmed that Rhythm Heaven would be shipping the same day, so you can just pick 'em both up at once! GameStop is already taking pre-orders for both the Black and Blue DSi SKUs online, and your local brick-and-mortar store should start taking pre-orders for both tomorrow if the internet buzz is correct.
This is a move that really makes me happy, because the DSi is probably going to be huge. Even a little of that hugeness rubbing off on a deserving game like Rhythm Heaven will give the franchise a huge shot in the arm, and make sure any possible future entries in the series get over here a lot quicker than the DS's did. Actually, heck, even if you don't care about the DSi: go out on April 5th and be sure to get your copy of Rhythm Heaven!
