Remember those EA sports games that would be shipping with MotionPlus support ahead of... well, the actual MotionPlus? It looks like they're pretty much confirming those the old rumor that Wii MotionPlus is so sensitive to motion input that it's kind of hard to develop an actual game around it. Here's a quote from Thomas Singleton, producer of EA's Grand Slam Tennis, about his own MotionPlus dev troubles.

At times it's overly responsive. It had so much fidelity that at times we have limited that fidelity to make it a compelling experience and giving you full total control.

Of course, it's worth remembering that most of the preview impressions to date of Grand Slam Tennis with MotionPlus play have been incredibly positive. So while the MotionPlus controller may be hard to develop for, it sounds like it's worth the extra effort. This just means that the inevitable MotionPlus shovelware is going to take on whole new dimensions of terrible.
