From the beginning EA Sports Active has promised Balance Board support and I've been wondering how they'd pull it off without making a bunch of stuff that just looks like Wii Fit. I'll let you be the judge of how successful EA was at that little goal. I'd put the number at something like 55%, which is higher than I was expecting.

What's a bit more interesting is the weird kickboxing game they show off here. I'm wondering just how many people are going to kick bystanders or their TVs while doing this. Heck, how many people are just going to fall over, victim of their own poor reflexes? I think what matters here is if it's going to be enough people to justify a class action lawsuit.

Wii fit was pretty fun. The thing that seems cooler about this though, is that you have actual tension straps/ ropes whatever you call them. Seems like with those you would potentially get a better workout

You could definitely do more efficient strength training with the resistance strap, yeah. Wii Fit's strength workouts are kinda poorly designed in that it's mostly stuff like planks and push-ups that are going to be a bit too difficult for anyone really out of shape to do... and you need to be really out of shape for Wii Fit to have any sort of appreciable effect.
