There's an interview with No More Heroes creator Goichi Suda, a.k.a. Suda 51, in the latest Nintendo Power. It contains one of the greatest game-related statements uttered by man:
“I love him [Travis], and I want him to be a huge star. That’s why I’m working very hard to make this game as interesting as possible. Maybe in the future, we can see him fighting alongside Link in the next Smash Bros. [laughs] That would be great.”
Yes. Nintendo, listen to this man. Travis Touchdown in the inevitable sequel to Brawl would be fantastic. It would also be a nice way to acknowledge a creator who supported the GameCube and Wii with original games when he probably could've made a lot more money elsewhere.
While I'm wishing, Nintendo, you also need to let Suda51 make that Mario game he was talking about last year. I can guarantee you it would get a bigger media reaction than Super Mario Galaxy 2.
